Troubleshooting your internet connection
If you are having problems getting updated weather data, you network connection could be to blame. Please follow the steps outlined here to troubleshoot the problem.
Check that you can browse the internet through Pocket Internet Explorer. This is a good test for generaly internet connectivity.
Start Pocket Internet Explorer, and try browsing to www.marsware.net
If you successfully connect, then proceed to step 2. If you get a "Page not found" or similar error, then please check your internet connection.
To do this, go to Start / Settings / Connections, and verify the settings there are correct for your network.
Run the Diagnostics
Go to Start / Settings / Today / "Items" tab / WeatherPanel / Options. Click on the "About/Diagnostics" tab, then "Run Diagnostics".
If the "Connection Test" says CONNECTED, and the "Authorization" is a SUCCESS, but "Connection Manager" is a FAILURE, then check the box "Don't Use Connection Manager" in the "Options" tab.
If the "Connection Text" says NOT CONNECTED, but the "Authorization" is a SUCCESS, check the box "Don't Resolve Host"
If you use a proxy, please be sure to enter the proxy details in Options / Proxy Settings.
